Words express feelings, not just spoken words. Sometimes we don’t want to say. Or there is no one to listen to us. Numerous emotions remain incomplete. Words are sometimes the cause of war and also the cause of formation. Just as words can destroy a great building, they also can build a palace of feeling.

This series of works specifically portrays the human behaviour of the people located at any time or any place. The process of mapping political landscapes with grotesque bodies is the core intention of this series which symbolizes the despairing of masses through communal oppression and how their souls are being battered, bruised, and tortured. The deliberate use of architectural style prompts the idea of destruction and the suppression of the downtrodden.

In recent times we all get to know each other very quickly which was not possible before. I remember, long ago in my locality there used to be only one PCO booth which was also a part of a grocery store. The shopkeeper used to come running out of the shop and cry out the name of the person who received the call in the neighborhood and everyone peeked from their ‘verandah’ to know who it was for.
